I am looking for a 2.1 speaker system that sounds good, but also looks great. I had my eyes on the swans m10, but they do not make them any more :(

Ummm... While since we are going on looks...

Speakers that look like actual monitors, the price range is a little complicated...

    Audioengine5/2
M-Audio Studiophile LX4 2.1 Expandable Surround Sound Monitoring System
Blue Sky EXO 2.1 Studio Monitoring System (Out of your price range, but looks and sounds very very good)
    Genelec 6010APM (Same as Above)

Or try actual monitors? Also there is a thread about trying to find Swan's now...check there too.

    how about

well i know that it is over 200 but Aego M might be what you're really looking for. They are known for really good sound quality AND i personally think that they're better looking than Swan M10. I have Swan M10 myself. I guess i picked up one of hte last ones since I got it couple weeks ago.

Have you also considered getting 2.0 and buying separate sub along with it?

I know that some people like Harman Kardon sticks...although I personally don't like them.

so yeah my main suggestion is Aego M.

Pretty much every day somebody asks about the best speakers or best bluetooth mouse. SEARCH! You will find a wealth of info. Search these forums.

In the OP's defense. I mean I like to think outside of my two month absence. I check nearly every thread that says speaker and the three Polk Models are pretty rare, first mention to these forums in the past years to my recollection...

It is ridiculous how hard it is to find those Swan M10's. I've been trying for a good month, but nothing even shows up on eBay.
