I am looking for a little program that will allow me to emulate os 9 becauswe there is a prog i wanna run on it.

Any thoughts.

You might search for a program called "Q" or "QEMU". I believe you can emulate a PowerPC and if you can install OS 9 it might work. I haven't tried or anything, its just an idea.

EDIT: Here's a link. It says the newest version is universal.

Well, you could use Boot Camp to install XP (or probably just install some version of Linux) and run PearPC to run OS 9. But that would suck. It would probably be easier to buy an older Mac.

There's a UB of SheepShaver, though I have no idea how well it works. The PPC version works fairly well for the most part, though the graphics handling needs serious optimizing, so it's not so good for games (though it'll run System Shock just fine, which Classic won't do). You do have to buy a copy of OS 8.6 or 9.0 though...it doesn't work with anything newer last I heard.
