I want to play some music at my teenage nephews birthday party and I'm just wondering what kind of music does the average teenage boy like? Please tell me artist names! :)

Not an easy question.

I'm a "teenage boy" still technically (though I am an adult), and I would not at all be satisfied with a sampling of Top 40 radio hits, though for a party, you may please the most people by playing such music. I would've wanted to hear electronica and indie rock at a party--and possibly some hip hop :)

Maybe you should ask him what he likes :)

Can't go wrong with top hits. For artists, I'd go with: Black Keys, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris, Paramore, 21 Pilots, DJ Snake, Daft Punk

Always a day away
Why don't you ask him?

My son is coming up on 13, and he would say System of a Down, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains, etc. Your nephew and his friends might enjoy something different.
