I use OmniOutliner on my Mac every morning and night time, but some days of the week am running late in the morning and/or come home too late at night to even care...

I know OmniOutliner isn't available as an app for my iPod Touch but need the same sort of functionality, to be able to review checklists in the mornings and evenings...

    Any ideas?

On a side note, any apps for writing down things, i'm also looking for a MacJournal kinda app but for the Touch.

I use [app]Outliner[/app], an app that supports checklists, and syncs to the app's online service. If OmniOutliner exports in OPML format, then you can export them to Carbonfin's Outliner online and then sync your iPhone/iTouch to your account, and all your outlines will show.

I find the app great for checklists, planning, and brainstorming. It also has a note section to each entry, but if the note is long, the only way to view it all is in edit mode (not a big deal really).

What kind of program is MacJournal? What features do you find essential? Let us know and more people may be able to make good suggestions.

Outliner looks great! Very similar to OmniOutliner. I only wish something like google docs would allow for editing on the touch.

Macjournal is like a journal for the mac, which i write stuff out in the mornings and night regarding my day. Eh.

I use [app]Momo[/app], not as a journal, but with it's Calendar to select a day, it could easily fill in that job. The passcode lock at entry of the app and sync to online service are the two features that have kept me with Momo.

Are Google Docs somehow related to your checklists and notes in OmniOutliner? You can edit or create and new outline or checklist in Outliner.

Well, I use Google for just about everything. I love always being in sync everywhere in any situation. I've just used google sync to set up my calendar and gmail on my ipod touch and to be in sync always with my macbook pro computer...which of course google being the middle man, google being the cloud in this case therefore being able to log into any computer (PC) and seeing all the same info if im ever caught w/o my touch or Mac.

Yes, I'm all for cloud computing too, so easy to use any of my three mac's that way, and iphone too.

For notes there is evernote, backpack, zoho notes, google doc's, ubernote, I'm trying to decide on one to use now.

ZeptoLiner is what I settled on. Those Japanese always do things interesting. Works well, not too many features, but enough to have me satisfied.
