Good or bad idea, MacRumors I need your opinion

Do I dare to put self adhesive velcro strips on top of my M1 Mini and fasten it to the underside of my desk or should I worry that the adhesive will come loose and the mini will drop to the ground?

That 3D one doesn't leave much room for the Mini to breathe. I'd be worried about it overheating.
