is $800 a good price for a used 15" MBP? specs are:

A1226
santa rosa macbook pro
2.2ghz core 2 duo
2gb 667mhz sram
upgraded 120gb to 320gb hard drive
leopard/panther/tiger discs, currently running leopard
original box, cables, remotes included
invisible shield on the bottom
case in perfect condition, no problems with the machine

this is actually my computer. i'm debating about upgrading. just wondering if the $800 offer is good, too high, too low, etc. any pointers/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

already had it replaced under warranty.

Won't matter. The replacement is still flawed with the 8600M GT and will still be a problem for the next user or whoever buys the MacBook Pro. Apple will keep fixing it until 3 years from the original purchase date has passed.

No. Like I said before, due to the HIGH risk the graphics card will spontaneously decombust; $600 is about what is to be expected. Computers depreciate 35-40% every year owned.

If you can find a poor sap dumb enough to buy your two year old computer for $800, more than likely only because its an apple, then take the money and run.
