I need a Mac Mini to serve as a home media server, at this point I decided to wait for Apple to release the new ones unless I can get a awesome deal on Craigslist/Kijiji

I really don't care what I end up buying, all it needs to be able to do is serve 1080p media to a couple of Apple TV's so any of the base 2010+ models would do the trick I think.

So my question is what's a great deal for a 2010, 2011 and 2012 base models? What's are they worth and what's the best price I can reasonably expect?

Apple is selling refurb models of their October 2012 release and the one with a 2.5GHz dual core i5, 500GB HDD and 4GB RAM is being sold for $509. So if you find a comparable machine on CL, eBay, or Amazon that's used, I would offer no more than $400.

I'm looking for a headless slave Mini to run at least two instances of Vienna Ensemble Pro Server (64-bit) via ethernet and Pro Tools 12.5. 16GB RAM -everything loads into RAM via SSD. Anybody have a setup like this?
