My wife's employer is moving off Blackberries to 'Bring Your Own Device'. They use Outlook in the office, and they have signed a contract with Good and are installing and configuring the Good app on employee's devices. They have purposefully not installed any MDM profiles to avoid any privacy issues.

The issues my wife has been seeing so far basically boil down to the fact that the app is suspended when she is not actively using it. This means no e-mails are pushed/pulled by the app. When she logs in it can take 15 minutes or more for the app to download e-mails, which is not acceptable. Her MIS department is pushing Android devices for employees who don't yet have a phone of their own, I think because they can be configured to run apps constantly in the background.

I've seen some other posts on MDM and the Good app. Can anybody suggest any workarounds or alternative MDM configurations that would make e-mail delivery quicker?
