Good time to buy a base level macbook pro?

I plan to get the base level macbook pro this year by August. I'm wondering, will there be any spec improvements or anything of that nature that I'd be missing out on by purchasing it now instead? Little things don't bother me that much, but big things like improved graphics cards would be a bit important to me.
