Good time to buy new MBP?

I'm about to bite the bullet and purchase a new Macbook Pro from Amazon. Do you guys think it's a good idea to buy one now so that I can enjoy it for the holidays instead of waiting until after Macworld in January? I wouldn't think there would be any updates to Apple notebooks anyway.

I'd say yes before the rebates and whatnot disappear.

Buy now and enjoy it; if money is an issue, postpone your purchase until after the next updates (possibly, but only possibly January) and then buy refurb. In any case, the MBP is a terrific computer and you'll enjoy it hugely.

Agreed. I doubt Apple will do anything with the MB or MBP at MWSF.
