GOod Trade? Custom Gaming PC for PowerMac G5

i wouldnt do the trade, not because the PC is good, but because a mac mini would probably and literally be more powerful. someone on the forums might have a better trade for you
 
Your hackintosh is better, and if its not having problems, don't downgrade. Those G5's are so slow by today's standards... my Macbook Pro is faster (on paper) than everything except the fastest quads.
 
I want a G5 because I don't like the unreliability of the Hack, and want a G5 because its gonna be cheaper )Cheaper by that instead of a Mac Pro or Intel Mac), and close to my specs. I only need it for small PS and DW tasks (nothing huge) and basic iTunes and such. It's perfect.

So Dual Core is better. Hmmm.. Guess it really down to the 2 Dual Cores, and the Quad...

I still wanna go for a Quad because of the better performance. I think it should be OK with Water Cooled. Most people say they are fine. But, we'll see what I'm offered.

Just get what your heart is telling you and be happy with it. Think that it will last you and it will.

Well, any other suggestions? Which would be best, beside the Quad, to get? The 2.7?

The Dual Processor 2.7 but I will still get the Quad.

Both the good ones have Liquid Cooling. Oh well. I'm ready to take chances.

I'm still making my Craigslist post. I wonder if I should get 16GB of RAM? lol. I can only wish. I'd need to sell everything I won to do that! 😛

2 or 4 GB should be good. 😎

I wish I could get 16GB. It'd cost me $800. XD

Anyway, I was originally going to mod my PC into a G5 case, but I said, why do that? Just get one! Much easier to do. Plus, its a real Mac.

If I don't get one, maybe I'll sell for a Mini. 🙁

But, I'm pretty confident somebody will email me with an offer.
