Hi, I would like to get folders from my iMac to my iPad. Easy enough with Files App but I need them in Goodnotes.
Started by trying to import a folder from the hard drive into Goodnotes first (the idea being it would sync through the cloud to the iPad).
Doesn't work. You can click on a folder but the "Open" remains greyed out. Seems the only thing I can select are individual PDF files. Even .docx files are greyed out.
I must have done it once, somehow, because I have loads of folders on both.

Any ideas or help very welcome!

Based on this thread from the Goodnotes support section (ignore the part about Google Docs as the original source), I wonder if you first zip the folder on your Mac (right click the folder and choose Compress), then upload the zip file to the Files app, and then either download it to your iPad and import it into Goodnotes or see if you can import that zip file directly from the Files app.

Thanks for the reply, I'll give it a go! It's a pretty convoluted way to get a folder in the app, but if it works I'll be happy!
