Having both android and iPhone. Starwalk is much better. Worth 2.99 all day. The iPad version is just plain amazing.

I got it last night, and while my app experience over the last three years may be considered limited to some,

Sky walk is by far the coolest interactive application I've used on an iphone thus far.

Not at all impressed with Star Walk. I have seen my friend's Google Sky Map. It's so cool to frame a constellation or star cluster in the camera view finder and then get all the information. Nothing like it I can find on Star Walk. Star Walk is a waste of $5, IMHO.

What information are you getting in sky map you're not getting in star walk??? Star Walk has a much nicer UI. Sky Map leaves you with that google feeling. Although free and nice. It feels exactly that, free. Its almost like they get to a certian point and say screw it, that's good enough. If you've used both you'll see what I mean.
