Well everyone knew Apple bought C3, who had been developing this for a while, so Google have had since Apple bought C3 to start developing their own version, which is why they only showed a small demo, gave no actual release date. Apple will announce theirs on monday, with a release in the next few months, if it's in iOS 6 like everything points to.

If Google had announced a release date and it was in the next 3 months, then i'd have given Google the benefit of the doubt. reeks of desperation to try and spoil apple's announcement......

Well, Google has released the 3D maps, something to say now?

Yes it's in google earth, but is it in native google maps on android.....? Plus it's only about 15 cities. Apple has around 100 as of 1 year ago, so google are rushing still...

Do they said that they will be on Google Maps? I don't think so

The fact is that they have released it

Google earth is not a comparative app to apple maps. Google maps is the comparative app, people were talking about google maps getting the same feature, which it hasn't.

Have they released it yes or not? They have released what they promised in the presentation, 3D views to Google Earth.

You missed my point. People were saying that google are doing 3D in their maps, which they haven't. Just a 3D view for google earth.

You missed the point, people can say whet they want, reality is that 3D maps wasn't vaporware.

And i don't know what difference makes being on Maps application or in Google Earth, the usefullness it is the same, little as the Apple 3D maps will have

Well like others on this thread and forum, people were referring to 3D coming to google maps, as people were saying that androids maps will have the same features as apples maps. Which they don't.

BTW do you really have nothing better to do than drag up my quote from weeks a go just so you can do a childish "told you so"? Can't believe I wasted my time replying to it either tho.
