Doesn't work. Just tried it and a single notification is sent to the phone. That's it...
The ping iPhone feature on the Apple watch is super easy and works every single time. Sorry Google.
You should never trust Google with privacy.A little too early. AirTags are right around the corner.
Sorry, sometimes I donβt trust google with privacy.
funny, this made me think of the first time i saw a porsche cayenne. i laughed so hard at the fact that they were selling a car with almost an identical profile to a hyundai, but with a porsche price tag...I don't know about 'great', but I find myself being one of the only ones laughing at some things in life. It's good to be able to think outside, or inside(?) the box. Like when the Microsoft guy tried really hard to sell me a Surface. I wanted to say 'Aww... Aren't you cute. Trying to sell me that 'thing'. When do you get out tonight? Do I have time to run home and get my Zune? Maybe you can explain to me why it sucked so hard, and why you guys released it in 'brown'. Was that meant to be a self-own? I laughed when I saw one. Was that supposed to look like leather, because it kinda didn't. The only thing this has over the iPad is a slot for a chip. I don't consider Windows as a benefit for a tablet sold without a keyboard and mouse/track pad. And then, is it really a tablet? Does it really compete with the iPad? Good try though...'

yea, but at least they belong to the same overarching group β in the 80's there were even more similarities between the 2. porsche and hyundai have no relation, at least to my knowledge))And VW cars that looked exactly like an Audi that cost quite a bit more, and really, shockingly looked exactly the same.

it does. i'm saddened by the trend for sport car companies to make suv models because of the demand. i believe ferrari is the last company to resist. everyone else has done it and in my opinion β devalued the brand. i mean a cayenne costs less than the 911(if i'm not mistaken).I think the Cayenne looks pretty silly. There must not be enough Hyundai's around here, or enough Cayenne's. There only one of the later, AFAIK. The wife pointed it out once, and laughed... So much for spending more money to get respect.
TANGENT: Delta uses a fleet of Cayenne's to drive 'special people' from gate to gate at some of their hubs. I'd think that people that require that much pampering would fly private. I'd be embarrassed...

from gate to gate? they drive them around on cayennes indoors??? there's your luxury!![]()
yea, no β i figured it wasn't indoorsSorry, not indoors. They drive from the stairs just off the jey bridge, to the next jet bridge. Really silly to do. People that feel they can't be seen with 'the rest of us' really need to just buy an island in the Caribbean somewhere and see how well they survive. *shrug*
yea, no β i figured it wasn't indoorsyea i feel you though β some people feel a bit overly entitled. i had this lady ask me to switch seats with her on a plane once because 1c was her seat and she supposedly booked it, except in realty β i did. i didn't mind, as 1h(and k) was vacant, but it was an odd situation β she wasn't asking me to switch with her as much as telling me that i need to. and then when some more people came onboard she shook her head and exclaimed "upgrades".

hey, i get stressed out too, but i control it with cognac or xanaxSome people get so stressed out flying, it makes me wonder how screwed up they are when they aren't on a plane. *shrug*

i need just a bit more, but the idea is rightYep. I'm a 'two glass flier'. Give me two glasses of a decent red wine, and I'm fine. I'm a two beer golfer too. *shrug*
I literally just thought about this an hour ago. I knew it didnβt exist but I was hoping for it. And baaam. Here we go.
Google today announced new automation and web features coming to Google Assistant for Android and iOS, with the most notable feature for Apple users being the ability to locate a lost iPhone using the digital assistant.

Android users have long been able to use the Google Assistant to trigger a sound for their smartphone if it got lost. That same ability, much like Apple's own Find My system, is coming to the iPhone. The feature will let users who have a Google Assistant-enabled smart speaker and the accompanying Google Home app for iOS find a misplaced device.
The alert is triggered when asking "Hey Google, find my phone" through a Google smart home devices. Following the trigger, the Google Home app will send an iOS critical alert on the iPhone. Apple offers apps the ability to utilize critical alerts, which are special notifications that can break through Do Not Disturb, or silent mode, to ensure they reach the user. Apps with critical alerts require special approval from Apple, and Google seems to have obtained that approval.
Additional features coming to the Google Assistant app include "Assistant Routines," which Google says will make it easy to perform multiple actions at once with a single command automatically, and a Duplex update that makes ordering takeout and delivery easier with partner restaurants.
