Google Calendar support Outlook 2016

This was announced early 2017 (!!). Just updated Office 2016 Mac (several Gb), but still no go. Anyone know anything about this ? Has Google Calendar support for Outlook 2016 been cancelled ?

It’s still available if you sign up to the Insider builds. But almost a year and still not in the stable release is ridiculous. It’s one reason I simply cannot consider Outlook for daily use.
