Google Chrome Causing Freezing and Crashing on New Mac Notebooks

Apologies to dredge up an old thread, but I've started having major freezes with Chrome on my rMacBook Pro recently.

Always on the LinkedIn site for some reason. Chrome freezes and locks the whole Mac up. Have to hard reboot.

Safari does not freeze.

Does anyone know if this was fixed?

Chrome Version 20.0.1132.47
Mac OS X 10.8.3

I don't mind using Safari again, but had got used to using Chrome for a while now.

Umm, you might want to update! Current version is 26.0.1410.65.

I am having this problem as well, and I have been using the most up to date version for a while now.
