Google Chrome Gestures

This is pretty random, in fact it was working just seconds before, but gestures stopped working in Chrome. I can't scroll or go back and forth between pages. It just stopped working, and I've restarted Chrome numerous times. Has this happened to anyone else? Oh I'm running Mavericks on a Macbook Pro.

Update:
Decided to use Firefox as my backup browser, until the scrolling fixed itself on Chrome, and wouldn't you know it, I got the beach ball and scrolling and gestures stopped on Firefox too. This isn't a big deal I mainly use Safari but I'd like my backups to work if I ever need them.

I guess it is an issue with Mavericks. Sometimes gestures stop working on certain applications. One time I could not use 3-4 finger gestures and I needed to restart dock. The other time, I could not use pinch to zoom in Preview, so I needed to sleep&wake my mac to correct it. I think rebooting should solve your problem.
