Google Chrome Gets Gemini Side Panel and Agentic Browsing Features

Ah now I see. They moved the tab search button to the toolbar so that they could put Gemini button in the right hand side corner. Cheeky buggers.

More importantly, those jerks seemed to have completely removed longstanding support for scrolling tabs, which makes the browser a whole lot more unusable, even for me on Ungoogled Chromium.

True, not everything is useless and stupid but LLMs are useless and stupid. Do you really check every line of the output from the chatbot if it is actually useful and smart?

Will try out the 'auto browse' feature once it is available every where and for all users. I do use Chrome as my secondary browser sometimes. Looks like a good update.
