This is the message I get in my system log:

45141 wakeups over the last 134 seconds (338 wakeups per second average), exceeding limit of 150 wakeups per second over 300 seconds

is this normal?

A Google search showed lots of recent cases on this issue with no fix in sight. I have the same issue and for me, it started recently.

Was there any follow up on this issue at any point? Does someone know more about this?

I'm currently getting this couple time a day and every so often it stalls my Mac completely, so that I have to crash it.

Command: Google Chrome Helper
Version: 64.0.3282.140 (3282.140)
Wakeups: 45001 wakeups over the last 215 seconds (209 wakeups per second average), exceeding limit of 150 wakeups per second over 300 seconds

Any help would be highly appreciated!
