Is it possible to use Google Chrome instead of Safari on the Ipad 2?
And can you sync the Bookmarks from my Macbook?

Damn, that'll be a deal breaker for me.

You will have to transfer your bookmarks from Chrome to Safari. Then you can Sync your bookmarks to the iPad. I reckon Safari is pretty good. ;)

Xmarks

Look it up, perfect solution for users like you and me who want to use Chrome but want our bookmarks synced to our iOS devices/Safari still

EDIT: I'm tired, didn't realize I double posted...

Everyone has different needs. If there is no YouTube or Google Maps on iPad, then it would be a deal breaker for me.

No YouTube or Maps would be be deal breakers for me too. However I don't see what makes Chrome so much better or different than Safari especially as they both use the same layout engine underneath. There is bookmark sync I suppose but there are other ways to do that which don't tie you to one browser.

Exactly the same as the iPhone.

But really, most if not all youtube videos that say they won't play on mobile is because of advertising.

No chrome a deal breaker??? :confused:No YouTube or Google maps a deal breaker, both of them can be accessed from safari.

OP, you may want to look into different browsers in the app store. I would check with the dev of icab and atomic. I believe there is a way for you do do what you are asking through those two.

Safari is pretty quick on the iPad. think its a tad quicker then opera also. only thing I miss about my Transformer is that the sec I logged into my gmail account it synced all my desktop bookmarks on the tablet.

but yea safari is hella quick and we have apps that let us view flash from the app store like swifter or something. you get like a free trial (for the people in this thread that mentioned the thing about flash)

Can I borrow your time machine?

I use safari and all my bookmarks synced as soon as I put in my apple Id along with everything else.
