Google Chrome very laggy on my macbook pro 2015

Hello guys! I tried to install Google Chrome and use it as my main web browser but it is very slow and laggy when scrolling. Do you have any idea how to fix this?
Another web browser recommandations besides Safari?

Do you really want to use a browser that tracks you as intensely as does Chrome?

What is precluding you from using Safari? I've been using it since it came out in '03 and have had few issues with it. My other browser which I use for Chrome-only web apps is either Chromium or Edge Canary.
