Not until google can make a cut-down version .... try submitting feedback ... maybe with enough interest they'll do it

Yes, there is. 2 apps that come straight to my mind are Text Editor and RainbowNotes. Search in the App Store thread, I remember I made a post about these and others too. I would love it if Google let us do it natively though. I agree, leave Google feedback. Unlike another multi-billion dollar company I know, I think Google actually listens.
