Google down? Can anyone confirm this?

Don't know if it's just me- but I'm suddenly unable to see any google pages.
Can anyone check this quickly for me.

Still down for me as well as other parts of the 'net not working so well, including some of the ad servers for MR are timing out.

Something big went down.

As for a massive attack. Google has been taken down like that before. Akamai even got the smack down a couple of times.

I think this is what caused the net slowdown-- LINK

Essentially, two "Tier I" internet backbones were down at the same time.

Apparently it has now been fixed-- Live Link to Internet Health Report
