I've just taken delivery of a 2021 16" MacBook Pro & I'm trying to set it up.

I've been an iPhone & iPad user for years, but my Laptop (used for Work) has always been Windows PC, so I've made the leap.

I use GMAIL & Google Drive. All my Work Files are on Google Drive.

I can access the Google Drive via Browser, but I can't seem to download the Google Drive App so I can Sync on my MacBook.

Can somebody please help. I need to do this ASAP.

Thanks!!!

Sorry if I'm being obtuse/obvious. You've gone to this page and it won't let you click on download drive for desktop?

Not obtuse at all samcraig, I'm grateful for the help!

Well I don't know what happened earlier, because I was going round in circles. Followed articles & videos on the matter, but the Appstore was showing me it was only available for iPhone & iPad???

I seem to be all up & running now. What seems to have changed (from Google side I think) is no more Back-up & Sync. I actually don't mind that, as long as I can access my documents & re-save to Drive, I'm happy.

Thanks!

I am not an expert but Backup/Sync should still be there - check out this comparison article, it seems to imply things have changed a little in how Google offers their services on Apple products

Thanks donawalt.

No mater how many times I follow every instruction I can find, I just don't get the option to choose Backup/Sync!

It just isn't there..... It's doing my head in.
