Doe anyone use Google Drive?

Seems Google wants me to use their own "Google Chrome" browser just for downloading from G.Drive.

As when i try to use it with Firefox. files are sometimes skipped inside sub-folders, the downloading the folder., the "Download all" when browsing inside the sub-folders, button does the same (doesn't always grab all files)

So in short, the only way is to either install Chrome, just for this, or download files individually as i have chosen to do..

There are only so many ways in HTML code and Javascript to initiate a download, and i would of thought this would be universal across all browsers, but i guess there are exceptions

Does anyone know why Google Chrome works ok and other browsers don't ? It's annoying because when I find that not everything is downloaded, i gotta go back, (maybe several times)

Even if i login first, then download, it doesn't help... I must use Google Chrome... For now, i'm trying to find add-on in FF Quantum specifically to overcome this. but all I get is managing G.dive when logged in. not bulk downloads ad an anonymous user.

I know its a Google product "Google drive" but i always thought making it available to all, on all browsers would would been a first decision you make, not a last decision.

I'm not going to install Google Chrome just for this, so any suggestions?

disabled all add-ons in FF, and not in private browsing.

I'm not sure why. I am a light but regular user Safari for Gdrive. No issues. Recently I set up another account, and use Firefox for that. Seems to work fine.

One way to test is to set up a new user on your system, and then install a clean version of Firefox, and see if that works. But I'm not sure what that would do for you. If it works, then what. If it doesn't work, it's not like Google has a help line.

If I understand you correctly, how do you know this action works on Chrome on your machine? Or have you tried Firefox on another system with the same (incomplete) results?

Because i've download the same set of folders on Google CHrome, and all are there... plus i've downloaded other sub folders on Chrome, and everything stays intact..

This is on a clean install anyway of Majave, so i don't think its an account issue. If it was, then Chrome would be having problems too. But i can test on user account.. with Firefox as default...
I'm saving all downloads to external drive (changed download location in F), so multiple account is not a bug deal. I save on external to save space on internal SSD.

Version of FF i use is 68.0.2
