I have a late 2006 17" iMac. The problem is Google earth will only show boundaries and roads. Everything else is just black. It was running 10.6. I thought it was a problem with the OS, so I did a clean install of 10.7. The iMac has 2 GB of RAM, and everything else seems to be working. Could it be a problem with the GPU? Here is a screenshot.

Try setting "Safe Mode" under Preferences. I had a version of Google Earth that would never show roads on a Mac with a 320M, looks like you have the opposite.

Thanks for your reply, but I ended up putting on an old version(6.2) of Google earth. That seemed to fix it for now.

If all fails, just replace it with Maps... Oh, snap!

Hehe...
