The only issue I have is the most expensive piece of technology on your person is now going to be the easiest to steal.
Bluetooth headsets never quite got social acceptance so I don't see how these will. Futuristic sci-fi stuff is great in the movies, but they never really work quite that well in real life.

Just what we need, more ass-hats talking to themselves in public.
That's because people are self-concious. It's time to grow out of that stage.
Think whatever you want, at least google is innovating at the moment. Can't say the same about Apple.
After the new wears off, this will sit on a shelf collecting dust at $1500. Note, we never get to see what a jerk people look like who wear one of these. I'm thinking Locutus may be an apt comparison.
So you must not like Siri either then I'm guessing.
are u actually hearing people use siri ... in public tho?
Remember how it felt to talk on a cell phone when they first come out? or on Bluetooth? That's because people are self-concious. It's time to grow out of that stage.
I want one!!! But not for $1,500... $799 and I'll definitely buy one. $999, maybe...
I will not take kindly to some jackass looking at me while they're wearing these.
They will be completely unsuitable for many uses, and likely ruled out for many more.
At least with a phone I can see people take them out and use them. With these, it's a whole different ballgame, one I'm not willing to play nice with.
Google hopes to put Glass on sale sometime before the end of the year for less than $1,500.
I'm sure it is in NYC with all the business types there, but even then it's not the majority of people using them. I live in Portland - bluetooth headsets are a relatively rare sighting.Say what?
Not sure where you live - but people here in NYC and everywhere I've traveled have bluetooth headsets on. And it's a "norm"
