Well this might not be a OS X or Mac issue but I don't know where else to go to find people to help me, so here goes.

When I search on www.google.com, there is a stupid sidebar on the left(see screenshot-The one that says videos, more and all that crap). However, if I go through my igoogle page, the sidebar is not there. It seems to happen only in Firefox. Please help me-its driving me nuts

Click the 'Hide options' link beside the word Web. That should get rid of it! ;)

You've probably been chosen in random testing where a new feature is tested on a few visitors.

Clearing your Google cookies may fix this.

The hide options only does it for that one time. If I go to google.com again-it shows up again.

Maybe you changed your preferences. Go to the Preferences link up next to the Google search field and look around.
