Well this might not be a OS X or Mac issue but I don't know where else to go to find people to help me, so here goes.

When I search on http://www.google.com, there is a stupid sidebar on the left(see screenshot-The one that says videos, more and all that crap). However, if I go through my igoogle page, the sidebar is not there. It seems to happen only in Firefox. Please help me-its driving me nuts

You've probably been chosen in random testing where a new feature is tested on a few visitors.

Clearing your Google cookies may fix this.

The hide options only does it for that one time. If I go to google.com again-it shows up again.

Maybe you changed your preferences. Go to the Preferences link up next to the Google search field and look around.

Register on MacRumors! This sidebar will go away, and you'll see fewer ads.
