Im going to see a friend this weekend so thought I would use latitude in Safari so my mate can ensure the beers are cold for when I turn up. However when I used the iPhone 4 safari browser to go to www.google.com/latitude and the only thing that loads is the navigation bar at the top of the page.

Has anyone else got it working?

Have had a look in the app store for something that will do the same job (with google) and the only thing I can find is something called "latitudie" but ratings not great.

Was looking for an app to do this myself and overlooked the thought of using the web site. Just tried it on my iPhone 4 and works no problem, shows me on the map. No idea why yours doesn't work then?

Doh, figured it out. For some reason javascript was disabled!!!

Guess I get the gump award today!

Cheers
