In front of you, behind the wheel.

Waze has had it for years and I find it indispensable (also on Google Maps for Android). I don't have to look at my dash when my speed AND directions are right there in front of me.

Really puts Apple Maps in the mud.

Every few months I try using it again and it's still nowhere near the functionality or accuracy of Google Maps

Last week I mistakenly selected Apple Maps on Carplay, rather than Google Maps. The routing was bizarre and directions were abysmal, notifications only happening shortly before the turning and in an urgent manner which made it sound like I should be making the turn at that very moment. It was horrific and I couldn't understand what had gone wrong.

It was only when I finally reached my destination that I realised my mistake. I genuinely had a better experience back when using TomTom on my HP iPaq. No bias, just a fact from a real world experience.

This is possibly the worst thing about Apple Maps. Very dangerous imo, especially in busy areas.

Here In Brazil Google Maps is way ahead in accuracy, but those new features are just gimmicks. The 3d thing is just a poorly made 3D version, that is not even interactive, its just unnecessary.

I really wish Apple Maps would start investing heavily in Brazil, that new detailed maps view on Apple Maps is awesome!
Why would they invest in Brazil? iOS market share there is negligible. It's not even recommended to have an iPhone in that horrid place, as it'll most surely be stolen from you, sooner or later. I'm glad I left that sh*thole.

To the sad janitor cleaning these boards: come and take another comment down lol.
