This would be handy when driving in Europe as a tourist. Unfortunately not available yet! But a very handy feature nonetheless.

the via michelin app does this:

Then you especially know how screwed by tolls we are here!
Indeed! :)

I'm not sure yet if I'll turn off this feature. On at least two occasions Google proposed an alternate route that avoided the tolls and would only add 1-2 minutes to the trip. That was nice. Most of the time though, alternate routes are not convenient, and the toll becomes unavoidable, and the feature serves as a cruel reminder of how many tolls we have in Illinois (and their high cost).

But hey, you get to save 20 minutes off your drive! ;)
At least. If you have to be up a little further north and have the luxury of taking the Leesburg Pike/route 7 you get the joy of a red light every 50 feet and a good hour to go 10 miles.

Yeah, some have paid an extra $4.85 + $1 on the Dulles toll road to save what doesn't seem to be that much time, but when they need to pick up their kids or some other urgent thing, it's painful, but they pony up

While I use  Maps exclusively these days I’m happy to see that Google continues to add features to it’s Maps App. It keeps moving the goal post for , so cool!

Twice this year, once in Sarasota and once in LA, both times going to the airport to leave, Apple maps has sent to freeways that were closed for construction. Google maps fixed the issue both times.

Good enough....does not cut it.
That’s surprising, especially for Los Angeles.
