Google Maps Staring

    So I'm considering switching back to the iphone but one feature that I use pretty heavily on my BB is adding 'stars' in google maps.

    Basically I can log into my google maps account on the BB, and anytime I 'star' or favorite a bar or location it appears in my google account and on maps.google.com for easy access.

    Can I do this using iphone's maps application?

    Yes, you can set bookmarks for any location, but they will be only viewable from the iPhone, I don't think it syncs with the desktop Google Maps.

    I know this won't help your post, but when I read that thread title, I thought it said "Google Maps Staring" like Google Maps looks at you constantly :D
