is anyone having issues with Google Maps after they updated the app on May 9th? Both phone and iPad have the same issue. Really really weird. Only when using the location directions. The basic home page picks up my location though. Tried rebooting with no fix.

Ok. They just released update a few minutes ago that fixed this issue. I was chatting with someone from @googlemaps on Twitter and they acknowledged the issue. Amazingly they pushed out update in a few hours. I'm surprised not many on here complained about this.

Perhaps this is your claim to fame?? An update just for your own specific issue???

As a QA I can tell you that for sure you were not only person to mention them about this bug. But you did good job for them and others.
There are no bugless codes, it's just matter of time when something show up ;-)
