I just want to understand exactly what you are refering to when you guys are talking about "jailbreak". From my perspective, jailbreaking an iPhone or an iPod would allow you to copy audio from that device to a computer (breaking in the iTunes library of the device, understanding how it encrypt data). Is a jailbreak required to install applications on that device? Are they one and the same thing, or different?
