Has someone hacked so that we can have Google Maps on our iPod Touch's?

You've already asked this question
When the touch is jailbroken, there will be a million threads on it. No need to keep asking every other day.

If your in such a hurry, may I suggest you Donate to the team doing the actual hacking. You might find that they work faster when they have Touches to mess around with...

If you want it hacked, do it yourself. Be thankful that there are people trying to hack it for you; willing to share their findings...

I just want to understand exactly what you are refering to when you guys are talking about "jailbreak". From my perspective, jailbreaking an iPhone or an iPod would allow you to copy audio from that device to a computer (breaking in the iTunes library of the device, understanding how it encrypt data). Is a jailbreak required to install applications on that device? Are they one and the same thing, or different?
