Before the recent updates to JB and Google Now, I could use Google Now to play music directly from Spotify. Under tablet search in the Google Now settings, Spotify is no longer listed. Am I the only one with this problem? Pic is attached in case of confusion.
If that pic is supposed to show that Spotify isn't there, it could just be under SoundCloud. If you're just showing the screen you were talking about, I'm not too sure. Have you tried rebooting and reinstalling Spotify?
It was just supposed to show the area I was referring to. Underneath SoundCloud are Translate and UStream. I tried an uninstall and reinstall of Spotify, and no luck. Such a strange thing to remove from an update. It's also annoying.
Did you ever find an answer for this? I can no longer use Google Now and get results for a song in Spotify either. It diminishes the usefulness of the feature when you rely primarily on Spotify for music.
Not sure how you all used it in Spotify. When i ask Google Now to play a band, it just brings up a song from my music on my micro card. Do you have to say play from spotify?
This is more of a spotify issue and a google now issue IMO. There are parameters in the spotify app that specify whether or not the app should appear in that list so I'd contact Spotify and ask them to enable/reenable the option.
