I am going to try it. Why not?

I trust them just as much as I trust Apple. They have open sourced the libraries and the complete tunnel has been audited. I'll use it since I already pay for 2TB of Google One.

1.1.1.1 is a DNS not a VPN. If you want to use Cloudflare VPN use their Warp or Warp+.

Ideally we want direct to satellite VPNs that completely bypass ground based telecoms.

We also need to keep in mind that the more privacy we have the stronger the privacy available to criminal networks and those who organise tech and finance based scams. The public has to become increasingly educated about not empowering such people. They manipulate the public using their networks to extract money from the public and funnel that money into politics to protect themselves. A mafia.

I’ve had a good experience with Private Internet Access, though I admit that I’ve never tried the other VPN services they seem to be popular such as NordVPN .

For DNS, running your own pi-hole plus unbound DNS servers keeps others from tracking your DNS requests.

Google today announced that its Google One VPN is available to iPhone and iPad users, one and a half years after promising to bring it to iOS devices.

The service, which has on Android smartphones and tablets since October 2020, is available for Google One members who have the 2TB Premium plan. Google One Premium is priced at $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year, and in addition to VPN functionality, it offers 2TB of storage space and the option to share benefits with five other people.

Google says that the VPN feature can be shared with family members so everyone can get VPN protection on both Android and iOS devices. The service allows users to stream, download, and browse content on an encrypted connection, offering protection on public WiFi networks and cellular connections. VPNs also mask IP addresses, preventing websites from determining user location for tracking purposes.

Google already offers its VPN service to iPhone subscribers through Google Fi, a cellular service available to iPhone and Android users, but now those who don't have the Google Fi service will also be able to use the Google VPN if desired. It is ideal for families that have a mix of devices or users who have both Android and iPhone products.

The Google One VPN is available in 18 countries, including the United States, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Mexico, and more.

lol as if google wouldnt already know enaugh about theair customers. now thay want to get thair entire internet traffic.

Honestly if you really want ur internet traffic to be secure then buy a own server and install openvpn server and you have ur traffic tunneled to ur own vpn server.

all those advertisements with VPN to secure ur internet is ********. Instead of showing ur Internet Provider ur Traffic u give ur traffic to the VPN Provider and they know what u are doing. and if goverment investigates u they ask the ISP where ur vpn provider is and then they simply ask the provider and they will give the information so no gain there
