Google pay Apple for Safari searches?

    Just seen an article from the Guardian saying that Google pay Apple for searches performed through Safari. Is this true?

    That's how Firefox makes money ;), but $25 million is nothing to a company the size of Apple.

    Very true, but with such low overheads involved with including the Safari search bar, it's effectively entirely profit for Apple. :cool:

    hopefully in the near future, google will pay me for using their search!.

    Me too I must do a 100+ searches a day.
