Though I went with Black titanium by accident, I was sure I ordered natural but this is what I got. Oh well, was going to exchange for natural but my size (512) has not been available locally so just going to keep it.
Snap! I had that exact Note 10+, I think that blue was called Aura or something. Mine went into a brown leather, such a beautiful colour wasted! I have my old Pixel 3 on a different google account than my main. This phone still impresses me to this day, and I do wish Google had given it 5 - 6 years of coverage. Anyway, I set my old pixel to use google meet so I can operate it as a remote camera and monitor my front porch at a different angle than my Doorbell.
Whoever delivers the Pixel 8 will be in high fidelity on a couple devices now .
Honestly feel google meet video quality is on par or (perhaps) better than FaceTime.

Video details lacking on the YouTube page so no idea what settings were selected on each of the phones or if just left in full auto.
Regarding the pixel, is the Video straight off the camera or using the VideoBoost™ Datacenter trick to enhance HDR?
Low light I am in the middle and like the 15 pro better. Pixel brings up shadows far too much, and Samsung over sharpens.
Yeah I saw all 3 smartphone win some shots and lose some shots. But I thought the 15 pro won darker shots imho.
But as you say we don't know what settings were used. Then to be fair to Samsung here they only tested the what 3x zoom? C'mon that is kinda not fair? i think the 10x or 30x zoom should have been allowed. Just because the others can't do something that doesn't mean there should not have been a comparison.

The stability of the iPhone video amazes me. I can fully see footstep cadence in all other cameras when the person is walking with the 2nd best being the Samsung. You have to really look for it on the 15 pro in the ultra wide test. I think I like the Samsung 2nd best in stability, but colors & exposure better on the Pixel than the Samsung.

The iPhone and pixel will lack the zoom of the Samsung. would have been awesome to see 10x across all of them though.
That said, zoom isn't my thing. That lens will hardly get used on my Pixel 8 Pro, in the same sense I rarely use 3x on my iPhone Pro models.
I was just charged in full for the 8 Pro by Google. I checked to see if it had shipped and it still shows the cancel option on the order. IIRC, once the charge hits the Bank then shipping the device is imminent. The 8 Pro along with the Buds Pro showed a ship date of Oct 16-17th and the Pixel Watch 2 with the black band has a ship date of Nov 1-9th. That seems to be a popular color because it was on backorder the last several days.

Google stated that, “some of the elements of Video Boost still need to be refined” and that “it will be released later this year”.
You literally just beat me to the punch, I just got done re-watching that part of the Keynote 😂.
Either way, I’m really happy with the video quality I am seeing in the pixel so far.
I think the gap is closing for video quality in the smartphone space.
I would say for video, this is the first year Google finally equals Apple. I actually prefer the video colour & exposure on the Pixel vs iPhone on the ultrawide. Pixel just looks accurate and detailed with the rocks, shadows, sun & sky.
The iPhone is over exposing on the video to the point where the sun is not seemingly accurate, too yellow, and the sky looks too blue. Could be processing too. Apple also have the same issue with yellow tinge going on and lens flare like the 14PM. I wish they would address both.
Stability I'd give the nod to the iPhone as its super smooth, but Pixel is very close. The Huawei looked better than I expected whilst Samsung looked worse to me; with the stability you can see the jagged movements.
I'm looking forward to the proper professional comparison tests on both the videos and photos.

Ugh not sure what to don the color? I originally ordered Bay then switched to Porcelain when I thought the blue had blueish chrome camera bar and tinted sides, but it looks to be a chrome camera bar and chrome sides? Not blue tinted?
That porcelain still looks awesome to me. That's my go to color for the 8 Pro.
