Just makes me wish Apple would hurry the ***** up and bring iTunes Radio to the UK.

Just another example of Apple's walled garden and closed ecosystem, right?

NOPE! I'm an iPhone user. Not giving Google any money for a product they offer more features on their Android phones.

You missed the part were it says their 'iTunes Match' is free.

For me I will give this a try, I have a 16GB iPhone and my music is no longer fitting. I have been keeping a separate playlist of music I removed, I can upload that to Google

So you don't use google for search and YouTube?

Riiiiight.

And blame apple for not being able to purchase music on other platforms with charging an up charge. It is ASTOUNDINGLY lame that I as an ios user have to go to the web, purchase it there. Then go to the app. Same is true for audible, amazon, etc. Lame. Apple. Lame.

That is not always true. Google has offered voice calling on the hangouts app for iOS but it is not released for Android yet.

So essentially it's just like iTunes Match, but instead of $25 a year I can pay $10 a month?

Gee, where do I sign up?

Does this not offer offline play back? I am sure it does, but how do you tell what has been downloaded? I am trying to download my playlist from my all access subscription.

I have a chromecast, so the capability is nice....plus I still get it for $7.99 a month, which beats other services for me.

I've used both Google Play Music (on an Android device) and iTunes Match (on my iPhone). Without a doubt Apple's offering is less buggy, more fluid, and it uploads/streams MUCH faster. Plus, device storage management is much better with iTunes Match.

Privacy concerns aside, even though a portion of Google's offering is free, it comes at too high a cost...it would duplicate, delete, mix and re-arrange my music all the time. It's a mess.

Privacy concerns? You guys must be drinking the Apple koolaid if you think Apple is impervious to NSA access.

Haven't you guys seen the recent Apple release on how many times they have given data about YOU the users to the NSA?

Actually, its just like iTunes Match, but its free. If you want to add on Spotify functionality, then you pay $10/month.

I do wish Apple would do something like this in iTunes. I like music, but most of the songs I like now I'll probably hate in a month or 2 when they're played out.

For that reason, I have no interest in "buying" music that will just clog up my hard drive in the future. I'd rather pay for the right to "rent" the music I want to listen to at the time. iTunes Radio serves a lot of my needs for music right now, but there are still times I'd prefer the occasional on-demand song choice.

This app is actually really excellent. I uploaded all of my music to it in the past and it's a pretty good way to carry it all with me wherever I go. Many of my songs are not available on iTunes, so I use the web browser version and I love it. I don't even need to pay the subscription to listen to my uploaded music on my iPhone.

lol it's the same. The app is free the rest you pay outside your own collection

Perfect, thanks MR! Now I can listen to my 12K digital songs whenever for free and might now remove maybe half of the 12GB of music on my 5S to free up for other stuff. My 32GB iPhone feels small this gen. Thanks to apps taking a bunch of space.

I wonder; is the app 64?

Download this app if you want to give your data about your music tastes away to an advertising company, and probably the NSA. Down with Google and crappy spyware that works better on Android phones. And long live the Mighty Apple!   

Am I doing it right? ;)

Yeah like Apple didnt give any info to NSA. So nice to be bias .

Excellent app fast, clean and fully functioning. Love that I can turn off explicit language in Radio app for the Kids!

Great App Google! I use on 4 devices create playlists for the kids and just download them to their devices on the fly - Easy!!

Can anybody figure out how to delete an album or artist from your 'My Library'?

Someone seriously needs to hire an app developer at Google because, good god, their apps are terrible.

And they took all that long to "polish" the app and they couldn't even make it universal or listen to music offline?!

No thanks; sticking with the superior iTunes, thank you very much.

Uhhh, they already did do it with the release of iOS7 and it's free.

This is a great app. My entire music library is now on itunes match and google. Google sound quality is better when streaming and give you the option to choose low, normal or high quality when streaming. Since I have unlimited data, I set it to high and sound is great!
