Well said, I concur.With all due respect, I find Siri appalling on a daily basis. Its capabilities are woefully limited & since a few years after its launch - when it was vaguely cool - it’s been one of the weakest parts of the iPhone experience.
I generally like to give Apple the benefit of the doubt, but years upon years of subpar experience with Siri has resulted in a breakdown of my trust in the Cupertino Company.
In addition as the old saying goes, repeat the same thing over and over long enough and people will believe it.
Therefore the statement “Apple doesn't harvest user data for profit” is beginning to seem suspect. They might not sell users data, but it’s nearly impossible to believe they don’t collect it. Somehow it’s hard to believe they’re that virtuous.
