Google search annoying problem

Normally on Safari I click the Google search bar and type what I want to search for, recently I click the search bar and the bar moves up off screen, I then have two options I can either type the search anyway and hope I’m spelling it correctly OR when the search bar moves up off screen I can pull the screen down slightly and the search bar will then stay in place for me to see what I’m typing.
Is anyone else having this problem and is there a way to stop the search bar moving up off screen? It’s not a major problem just a bit annoying

Same here and it's frustrating. Glad it's not just me!

Just to add; I am using an iPhone 11 Pro, but it's the same problem. Guess it's a minor iOS 16 issue?

I think this is because of the new update, I'm also facing the same problem!

Me too! If anyone finds a solution I’d be grateful. Thanks for posting as I thought it was just me too! (Using a 13 Pro)

Update - it appears to be working again now when I use Google. No idea what’s changed but I can now see what I’m typing again! 🤷‍♂️

I’ve noticed when it just says “google” on the search page the search bar doesn’t move up off the page BUT when Google replaces the name with a picture that’s when the bar moves up off the page again, will see if it happens when they next put a picture there to celebrate whatever is coming up next

This happens to me too sometimes… it’s irritating for sure.
