Where has the Google search app come from, that won't let me view 'Disk Utility' in the Spotlight? I type 'D' and for a millisecond I see Disk Utility but it swaps itself for 'Google Search' which appeared in the Dock as well when I clicked on it. Assume it's a Chrome thing, but when was that added. I've never seen it before and never allowed it to be installed so how do they get past the password permission every time I download anything. Was in 'Users/Home/Applications'. Is this relevant to why Spotlight won't work properly. I just went back to Sierra from High Sierra and Spotlight indexed finished, but it's not working correctly. Used to just write a 'D' and Disk Utility came up straight away. Out of interest, what is that Applications folder used for, it's always empty. As opposed to the other main Applications folder that has everything in it. Although it says 2016 on that grab, it has never appeared before on MBP And what is AirScanLegacyDiscovery anyway? Not one match for that on Google?
