I have ALLOW set in Safari location, for Google. WHY do I get this doggone thing so much? (Almost every search.)

Safari > Settings > Websites > Location and then set google.com to Allow. Or maybe set Allow for all web sites!!

I nearly always block google.com from using my location, but this is your choice.

Location settings for website are stored in ~/Library/Safari/PerSitePreferences files.
You could try to close Safari, move those files to your Desktop, thus resetting the preferences, start Safari and set Allow again for Google.
