If these dev's can make iOS 11 "Just work" like things used to, then I will absolutely Jailbreak again.

In that case, Apple should return the favor. And since Google’s software is attacked on the regular Apple should also provide an active page to stream every exploit

Project Zero isn't to bash and embarrass competitors (though that is sometimes a consequence), it's to keep software secure. If a major security flaw is found, Project Zero notifies the devs and gives them 90 days before the exploit goes public. If they don't fix it in 90 days, Google goes public with it. This puts the heat on developers to get it done in 90 days, and also lets consumers be aware their product is not secure if this exploit is still active after 3 months, in case hackers have already found the exploit (who will NOT go public with it, just exploit it). It wouldn't make sense to keep this underwraps.

Don't you want to know if your software is insecure? If Google finds a security flaw and Apple does not fix it, they are letting the consumer know this **** isn't secure. Of course going public with it allows hackers to exploit it, but at least you can choose not to use that software, as opposed to Google not saying anything, you being ignorant, and a hacker exploits you by finding the flaw themselves.

Apple can probably also spend a lot of money on security researchers and keep the industry in check, but Apple doesn't care about the industry, only themselves. Their software, for the most part, runs only on their hardware. Google has at least a small interest in keeping iOS secure too, as their software runs on that platform.

11.1.2 is good enough for me on my iPhone X. On older phones.- I'm not so sure. I've already downgraded.

To MacRumors staff - this is big news, and deserves to be on the front page.

There are some cool things I will jailbreak for that apple doesn't allow. For example, picture in picture - being able to keep a video stream from one app running in a small window while using another app. Thats enough for me.
Is there a picture in picture app?
