Google went from having a great search engine that had some obvious ads, to having a search engine that is designed to deliver adverts over good results.
Froogle was a great way to find products from any online store, they scrapped that and made people pay to have their products listed.
I’m sure it’s making them loads of money at the expense of user experience, but a competent search engine will eat their lunch, just like they did against Yahoo and Ask Jeeves. Hopefully soon.

It pops up automatically and is so stupid and poorly designed. If you happen to see something you like you can't open it in a new tab and keep looking at things, which is the dumbest design decision I've ever seen.
I kept telling people years ago Google was going downhill fast and everyone just called me an "Apple fanboy" and ignored me. Now they're seeing it finally.
Google isnt' even a good search engine anymore. I'm finding better results with other engines.
You'd think Google especially would have a shopping service like no other, given the data that suck up.
"Hi we saw that you're 55 years old and bought some running shoes. Would you like to buy viagra and a hair transplant too. We can help finance the costs with 129% APR until you're broke and we're much richer."
Ha ha ha, that was truly funny. And I bet that is what they do. Amazon sort of does it, also.
