Google should ditch Samsung

I'm using TW on my Note 4 with no lag or issues.

Yep it was smooth as butter on the S5 with only the app refresh from multitasking being the only hiccup.

On the Alpha with less background services installed don't have the issue with refreshing and still smooth as butter.

Can't imagine why the Note 4 with such big big specs behind it and 3gb ram would be any different, and it's good to know it's just as smooth.

Any new S-Pen features over the Note 3 and Note Pro tablets???

With the Note 4, you get Action Memo, Smart Select, Image Clip & Screen Write instead of the 5 from the Note 3. So its missing S-Finder, Pen Window and Scrapbook (there's still a Scrapbook app though).

Note 4 still have some bloat but it's still super fast with either apps disabled or not disabled. Since mine isn't rooted (still deciding if I should use KNOX or not for work), I disable all the apps I don't use. Call it a force of habit.

I love the pedometer, its like the LG G3 where its on and keeps track for you. With the Note 3, I had to turn it on for it to keep track of my steps. This one does it for you once you sign into S-Health. Pictures are amazing but I don't have an eye for photos like some people on here.

That's my view, as much as you try to reason your way around it or side-step it by calling me "a hater". I don't "hate" anything, I just have ZERO respect for Samsung or Google, and wouldn't shed a tear if either (or both) of them went out of business - they're crooks.

They are "crooks" or they are a profit company built on making money from selling a product? Do you feel that Apple are less "crooks"? I mean seriously, you have "ZERO" respect for either of these multi billion dollar companies which bring innovation daily into the world? You may not "prefer" their products, but without them at the very least we would not have the competition that spurs Apple into making a better product.

It's just such an extreme position for someone to have "ZERO" respect for these companies, it feels so personal and huge.

Why don't you pop into the iPhone section and you'll see plenty of people that have signed up in the last 3 months for the sole purpose of trolling the iPhone forum.

Even if I *had* brought them into it (which I haven't) and even if they were unethical... what possible relationship does that bear to Samsung and Google's inherent untrustworthiness? (which is what I was talking about, unless you've wandered SO far off track, you're now lost?) See... the flaw in your response is that you're playing games and wandering down another path, as you aren't able to address the issue of Samsung and Google head on, so you drag an unrelated, undiscussed and irrelevant third party into the conversation... which is plain illogical, irrelevant and absurd.

So, assuming Apple WERE being discussed... how would their credibility and integrity be ANYTHING to do with what Samsung or Google?

Why are they unethical? I'm just curious what makes a company like Apple "ethical"? My personal opinion is they are ALL unethical. Major corporations have become so entrenched in putting profit ahead of everything else. Just because Apple puts out a great product doesn't make them altruistic in the LEAST.

And how does that bear any relevance to the fact that they're unethical? ya know... it's not entirely beyond the bounds of decency and common sense for unethical companies to shape up and become transparent and ethical - that way, noone would lose their jobs (except, possibly for the few who created the poor policies and crooked ethics, at the top).

If that's what it takes - and they DO go under, who's to blame? The management who make these terrible decisions - noone else. Of course that is not ideal, but who is to be held accountable for terrible decision and ethics causing a companies liquidation, except those making the crucial management decisions?

You imply that the public (who don't run the company - just to clarify that for you) should feel guilty, were said companies to go under as a result of poor management and moral standing - what possible logic is there to that notion? 😕

I think the MORE shortsighted person would also ignore the lack of competition if these companies went under. Smartphones, computers, tablets, Televisions, etc. etc. would all suffer because the companies left would not "compete" as much without competitive pressure.

Plus we still don't know why these companies are "unethical", at least more so than every single other major corporation out there.

Apologies for wasting my time on such pointless and irrelevant text. I considered (foolishly) that someone on the internet might be capable of upholding a civil, balanced and unbiased discussion as to why I may have thought that Google and Samsung are unethical. It seems the internet is not capable of that level of intellectual subtlety and humility without forcing their counter-opinion FIRST (just so they make it clear that they totally disagree with you, before pretenting to listen quietly and discuss issues "without bias").
