There are certain things you never knew you needed like Google Mac search:
google.com/mac.html

Google can now be used in many ways:
I will Google it.

Google is so cool. I love it.

Although you are not a true Apple fan unless your homepage is Apple.com. :)

How is Google so amazingly fast? How can it search so much data and find the conjunction or disjunction of words where each occurs so many times in the indexes? I know they have server farms in multiple locations, but when you search on "human health" it somehow intersects hundreds of millions of hits on the word "human" and hundreds of millions of hits on the word "health" and then ranks the web pages that have those words in proximity higher than the rest. How can it do this with terabytes of data in a split second? Is it really just brute force computing?

Yeah look on slashdot for it, i think I read it there.

Doctor Q -- besides for like a billion servers they index everything.

There really is never an original search.

They have every site in the world indexed probably.

Building the indexes is the straightforward part. What I'm asking about is the way they use those indexes to do conjunctions and disjunctions so quickly.

This is great...Really it is...Google is spiffy and all,

but if I hear one more person say he/she is going to "google" something...! Maybe it just gets me because it's the new "tell-tale sign that a person knows absolutely nothing about computers."
