Google Video Player for Mac has been released. System requirements are as follows:

* Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher
* Video card with at least 16 MB of RAM
* 1 Ghz or faster processor

Google Video player features:

* Watch videos downloaded from Google Video
* Browse scenes within a video using thumbnails
* Skip to anywhere in the video, even if that portion hasn't downloaded yet
* Sit back and watch videos in full screen mode
* Resume video downloads automatically

Pardon my French, but except for the fact that it's not based on crappy Flash, what's the point... :confused:

I can't think of anything other than offline viewing or something...

I'm glad they are not forgetting about the us but their whole video store/player is crap.

Most Google stuff is crap. I don't know why everybody has rose-colored glasses when it comes to Google.

You're joking! I love google stuff. However, it may only apply to PC people. When I had my mac, I couldn't use any of google's stuff. But on my dell it rocks.

It makes up for crappy microsoft with simple easy to use programs.

I also believe it goes against the HIG too. Stupid iPhoto, System Preferences, Calculator…
