GVC isn't made by google, which means you're going to submit your username/password to a third party app. No thanks. I'll wait for the official app which should be free.

Now to decide between this and GV Mobile when it arrives.

That's what I'm waiting for - having used GV Mobile + in the past, I can't wait to see it with Retina Display support and fast task switching!! :D

Easy, GV Mobile will be free for the first 24 hours or first week or something like that, so why pay for Google Voice Connect when you can get a better app for free?

That's the assumption, but Google hasn't confirmed this.

    Read before you post:

"All communication is done with the Google Voice website directly, no need to hand over your account information to a third-party."

I got GV Connect last night - very pleased with it so far (as soon as I found out you has to switch it to "Ring iPhone" when you dial).

You guys crack me up - it's $3. Support a dev!

Most apps on every platform accept login information for services they have nothing to do it. Your concern is outdated, by many years.

Exactly this. Help these guys out. I'm buying these up should Apple change their mind again.
